Quiet Quitting? Here Is What To Do…

Perhaps you're burnt out due to juggling work and home life. Maybe you're disengaged at work and need motivation?

Since the pandemic, the terms "great resignation" and "quiet quitting" have been coined to describe the change in the workforce. According to the US bureau of labor and statistics, 71.6 million Americans left their jobs between April 2021 and 2022. During the pandemic, people began working remotely from home and traveling less, giving them more time to question their careers. Pandemic stress led to burnout and there is a growing movement to rethink the role of work in people's lives. There is so much more to life than overworking ourselves to the point of sacrificing our health and family time.

According to a Gallup survey from 2021, only 36% of people are engaged in their work. If someone is disengaged, they may be looking for a new job or simply doing what is expected without going above and beyond, also called "quiet quitting." The phenomenon has been attributed to hustle culture and burnout; employees are refusing to do additional tasks that do not pay them and "quiet quitting" going above and beyond.

So, what do you do when you find yourself or your colleagues quite quitting?

In these nine episodes of Dream Job with Danielle Cobo, industry experts share actionable steps for boosting motivation, increasing productivity, and preventing burnout.
